Carved Old Wooden Mountain Man Hermit with Bark vintage Mexican pitcher 7 1/2" tall and 4

7 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" deep and weighs about 5 pounds

I purchased this piece

plus a decorative border of flowers and vines and corresponding carved edge

which appears to have been rendered on the back of a white paper receipt or wrapper

one arm of one of them has been replaced (I believe the toy originally came with a couple of replacement arms

I think of this guy as more of a hermit, and in fact he makes me think of Saint Francis in the wild, living at peace among the forest and animals.
